Skin Disorders

Did you or someone you know well experience incontinence-associated dermatitis? Your input is needed on a review considering skin cleansers and leave-on products for people with this condition.

Skills / interests: Patient and public input

Would you be interested in helping us with this article focused on skin cleansers and leave-on product interventions for people with incontinence-associated dermatitis?

I am looking for a consumer who would be willing to peer review this Cochrane systematic review:“Skin cleansers and leave-on product interventions for treating incontinence-associated dermatitis in adults”.

Cochrane considers a consumer to be someone with experience of the condition (in this case, incontinence-associated dermatitis), either as a patient or as a carer/family member of a patient.

From a consumer perspective, we are particularly interested in whether the language of the review, especially the Plain Language Summary, is accessible and relevant for people affected by incontinence-associated dermatitis, so it can be genuinely useful to patients and carers when making healthcare decisions.

While you are welcome to comment on any aspect of the review, you can focus your attention on the summary sections. Our aim is to make this a manageable and not overly time-consuming task for consumer reviewers.

Thank you in advance for considering!
