Recruiting collaborators for the project "Central and peripheral mechanisms for pain in fibromyalgia: scoping review"

Skills / interests: Clinical peer review, Methodological peer review, Searching for evidence, Screening and selecting studies, Qualitative analysis, Prioritisation of review topics, Translation (linguistic), Data extraction, Copy-editing and proof-reading

This is a scoping review of clinical and preclinical studies on the mechanisms of pain in fibromyalgia. A narrative synthesis will be performed, no meta-analysis will be considered. Deadlines for completion will be set by consensus depending on the extent of activity required at each stage. Depending on the extent of contribution, an acknowledgement or an authorship may be awarded.
 
To contribute to this project, expertise in at least one of the following activities is requested:
- Elaboration of search algorithms
- Peer-reviewing of search strategies
- Reference deduplication using Rayyan
- Abstract screening using Rayyan
- Full text retrieval
- Language translation
- Data extraction
 
Additional support may be requested later on for the following activities:
- Clinical input on fibromyalgia
- Research question formulation
 
Ideal applicants are both clinical and preclinical researchers with some background regarding fibromyalgia. Researchers with some expertise elaborating scoping reviews would be prioritized.
