eCOVID19 RecMap - Development of Plain Language Recommendations

The COVID19 living catalogue of guidelines and Gateway to Contextualization* team is seeking volunteers to contribute to the development of plain language recommendations (PLRs). Using a multi-stakeholder development process, this team creates easy-to-read summaries of COVID-19 recommendations for patients and the public. These PLRs are featured on the eCOVID19RecMapClick here to review a PLR developed by this team. The estimated time commitment per PLR is 3 hours within 7 days. 

 

We are currently looking for: 

 

2 Checkers: The main responsibilities of the checker are to ensure that the appropriate recommendation information was drafted and that words were simplified to plain language as much as possible. The checker is responsible for editing the draft as necessary.

The COVID19 living catalogue of guidelines and Gateway to Contextualization collects best available recommendations on COVID19 for clinical, public health and health policy. It is a product of the collaboration between Cochrane Canada, the World Health Organization Collaborating Center for Infectious Diseases, Research Methods and Recommendations at McMaster University, Evidence Prime, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, the Guidelines International Network and many other institutions or organizations.
