Your help is needed on a high-priority review on medicines to stop bleeding in those having hip or knee surgery!

Skills / interests: Consumer (public, patient, carer) input

Would you be interested in helping us with this article focused on medicines to stop bleeding in people having hip or knee surgery?

I am looking for a consumer who would be willing to peer review this Cochrane systematic review ''Pharmacological interventions for the prevention of bleeding in people undergoing elective hip or knee surgery: a systematic review and network meta-analysis''.

Cochrane considers a consumer to be a person with experience of the condition (in this case, people who underwent hip or knee surgery), either as a patient or as a carer/family member of a patient. From a consumer perspective, we are interested in the language of the review, especially the language used in the Plain Language Summary, if accessible, and if it feels relevant for those experiencing this condition, such that it will be helpful to patients and carers with healthcare decision-making.

While you are welcome to provide feedback on any aspect of the review, you can focus your attention on the summary sections. Our aim is for this to be a manageable task, that does not overburden consumer reviewers.

Thank you in advance for considering!
