I hope that you are all doing well! Would you have some time to help the European Association of Science Editors (EASE) gather information about how you and your journal or institution perceive diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and scholarly publishing?
I'm a member of a new committee seeking to determine current practices in biomedicine and publishing that could be starting points for improvement to diversify peer reviewers, editorial staff, and stakeholders in scientific dissemination. 
We would be grateful if you could promote the survey (the link is below) to your Cochrane editorial and journal staff (or other journals or publishers).

EASE Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Survey

The EDI Committee of EASE are conducting a study in which they will set out to discover more about the roles, policies and current practices of the editing and publishing communities surrounding EDI and their intentions going forward. 

Please participate by completing their short survey (less than 10 minutes) in this timely and important initiative. The survey will be open from 8 January to 31 January 2024. 

The survey is anonymous and contains questions about your workplace characteristics and perceptions of EDI. Your responses will help EASE establish action plans and measure progress towards greater diversity, equity, and inclusion. This information will be used to inform further work and the development of tools and guidelines to improve diversity across editorial, publishing, and peer review processes.
