Cancer

If you have experience of stage I to III lung cancer, your input is needed on a review considering intervention treatment!

Skills / interests: Patient and public input

Would you be interested in helping us with this article focused on treatment for people with stage I to III lung cancer?

I am looking for a consumer who would be willing to peer review this Cochrane systematic review “Adjuvant epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) for the treatment of people with resected stage I to III non-small-cell lung cancer and EGFR mutation.” Cochrane considers a consumer to be a person with experience of the condition (in this case, stage I to III lung cancer), either as a patient or as a carer/family member of a patient. From a consumer perspective, we are interested if the language of the review, especially the language used in the Plain Language Summary, is accessible and if it feels relevant for those experiencing stage I to III lung cancer, such that it will be helpful to patients and carers with healthcare decision making.

While you are welcome to provide feedback on any aspect of the review, you can focus your attention on the summary sections. Our aim is for this to be a manageable task, that does not overburden consumer reviewers.

Thank you in advance for considering!
