Patient/community partner for research project on cluster randomized trials

Looking for patient/community partners from the Global South to contribute to a project focused on research ethics surrounding cluster randomized trials. Our goal is to update the Ottawa Statement on the Ethic Design and Conduct of Cluster Randomized Trials, ensuring it reflects the latest advancements and diverse perspectives about a variety of topics, including informed consent and protecting vulnerable participants. 

We are interested in engaging with people: 

  • who have been research study participants (especially in a cluster randomized trial)
  • who are engaged in patient/community advocacy work, and/or
  • who are familiar with research ethics (for example, public/lay member of research ethics committee)

Patient and public partners will primarily be engaged through group discussions held via videoconference and email. The time committment is approximately 1-2 hours per month until the end of 2025. Compensation and recognition will be offered to successful candidates.
