Hello! My name is Luis Rafael Moscote-Salazar, and I am a medical doctor with a strong background in clinical and surgical neurosciences. I am currently forming a dedicated research team to conduct systematic reviews, including meta-analyses, in the field of neuroscience.

We are specifically looking for team members with prior experience in conducting literature reviews and access to key scientific databases such as Embase and Web of Science.

Additionally, we are seeking an experienced supervisor to provide guidance and oversight throughout the process.

Ideal applicant

We are looking for passionate individuals who are eager to contribute to high-quality research in clinical and surgical neurosciences. While prior experience in systematic reviews and meta-analyses is an asset, we also welcome applicants who have a strong interest in learning and developing skills in these areas. Key attributes we are looking for include: Interest in Literature Reviews: While prior experience is preferred, a strong willingness to learn and develop skills in systematic reviews and meta-analyses is essential. Familiarity with Scientific Databases: Experience with databases like Embase, Web of Science, and MEDLINE is a plus, but we also value individuals who are eager to learn how to effectively search for literature. Data Analysis Skills: Experience with statistical analysis and data organization tools like RevMan, Stata, or R is beneficial, but we are also open to individuals with an eagerness to develop these skills. Risk of Bias and Quality Assessment: Familiarity with tools like GRADE to assess the quality of evidence is a plus, but those with a desire to learn about risk of bias and quality assessment are encouraged to apply. Critical Thinking & Analytical Abilities: We seek individuals who are inquisitive, able to analyze complex data, and have an eye for detail, with a desire to improve their analytical thinking. Strong Writing Skills: Applicants should have some writing experience or a strong interest in drafting and editing research papers, as well as summarizing findings in clear, concise formats. Team Collaboration: Ability to work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, contributing insights and learning from others. Additionally, the ideal applicant should: Have a background in clinical research or neurosciences, or a strong interest in these fields. Be motivated, proactive, and open to learning, with a passion for research and scientific discovery. Have strong communication and organizational skills, and a dedication to high-quality research.
