Have you or someone you know cared for a preterm infant affected by apnoea? Your input is needed on a review considering continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) for preterm infants affected by apnoea.
Skills / interests: Consumer (public, patient, carer) input
Would you be interested in helping us with this article focused on continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) for preterm infants afffected by apnoea?
I am looking for a consumer who would be willing to peer review this Cochrane systematic review, “Continuous positive airway pressure versus methylxanthine for apnoea in preterm infants”.
Cochrane considers a consumer to be someone with experience of the condition (in this case, apnoea in preterm infants), such as a parent, carer, or family member of an affected infant. From a consumer perspective, we are particularly interested in whether the language of the review, especially in the plain language summary, is accessible and relevant for those with experience of this condition, ensuring it will be helpful for parents and carers making healthcare decisions.
While you are welcome to provide feedback on any aspect of the review, you may focus on the summary sections. Our aim is to make this a manageable task that does not overburden consumer reviewers.
Thank you in advance for considering!
