Have you or someone you know had retinoblastoma (a rare type of eye cancer)? Your input is needed on a review looking at the benefits and harms of chemotherapy drugs delivered via the artery or vein or a combination of the two.
Skills / interests: Consumer (public, patient, carer) input
I have a review looking at the benefits and harms of ‘Intravenous chemotherapy versus intra-arterial chemotherapy for retinoblastoma'. Would you be interested in helping us with this article?
Cochrane considers a consumer to be a person with experience of the condition (retinoblastoma), either as a patient or as a carer/family member of a patient. From a consumer perspective, we are interested in if the language of the review, especially the language used in the Plain Language Summary, is accessible and if it feels relevant to those with retinoblastoma, such that it will be helpful to patients and carers with healthcare decision making.
While you are welcome to provide feedback on any aspect of the review, you can focus your attention on the summary sections. Our aim is for this to be a manageable task that does not overburden consumer reviewers.
Thank you in advance for considering!
