We seek to form a research team dedicated to conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses in various medical fields. This task will involve comprehensive literature searches, data collection, statistical analysis, and synthesizing results to contribute to high-quality systematic reviews.
Skills Required:
- Experience in systematic review methodology, including PICO annotation
- Proficiency in tools like RevMan and ROB
- Knowledge in conducting meta-analysis and understanding bias in research
- Strong literature search and data analysis skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and provide peer review
Time Estimate: The time required will depend on the specific review topic. On average, systematic reviews can take several months to complete, with the meta-analysis portion taking additional time for data extraction and analysis.
Review Contribution: The research will contribute to developing systematic reviews that aim to inform medical practice and improve patient care. It will be part of a broader effort to enhance evidence-based decision-making in the healthcare field.
We encourage those with experience in publishing systematic reviews, especially in Cochrane, to join us in this important work

I am Alaa Mohamed, a GP with 5 years of experience in different medicine departments including emergency, nephrology and ICU departments. since April 2023 I have been a clinical research fellow. I participated in many systematic reviews and conference abstracts. therefore, I developed some experience conducting systematic reviews, screening studies against eligibility criteria, extracting data, quality assessment and manuscript writing.
Hi all, I am Yudha Nur Patria from Indonesia, paediatrician. I have been a member of Cochrane Indonesia since 2018. I have involved in several systematic review writings and provided trainings held by Cochrane Indonesia. I am interested in the field of cancer and next year I would be taking fellowship training on paediatric haematology and oncology. I am looking forward to collaborate in conducting systematic review on the field of cancer. Thank you.
I am a medical officer and am willing to join your team. I have some research experience and am learning about systemic analysis currently. Would be happy to work as a team.
Hi, My name is David, and I’m very interested in your project. I have a background in General Medicine and Surgery, along with in vitro and in vivo lab experience. While I haven’t worked on Cochrane reviews specifically, I have solid experience with systematic reviews and a strong track record of remote collaboration, as seen in my publications. Most of my evidence synthesis skills come from designing and teaching a course on evidence-based medicine, with a focus on literature search, data extraction, and synthesis. I’m proficient with tools like RevMan, RoB2 and modern ones such as LaserAI, GRADEpro, and can work with Python libraries (with some refreshing). I believe I could contribute effectively for your team. Best regards, David
