If so, your input is needed on a review looking at various GLP-1 medications. Cochrane uses the words ‘Patient and Public’ to mean patients, carers and members of the public with an interest in healthcare. Cochrane is committed to involving patients and the public in producing health evidence to ensure Cochrane Reviews are more relevant and trustworthy.
From a consumer perspective, we are interested in ensuring the language of the review, especially the language used in the Plain Language Summary, is accessible and feels relevant for those with experience with GLP-1 medications for weight loss and/or obesity (specifically Liraglutide, Tirzepatide, and Semiglutide). As such, it will be helpful to patients and carers making healthcare decisions.
While you are welcome to provide feedback on any aspect of the review, you will focus your attention on the summary sections. Our aim is for this to be a manageable task, that does not overburden consumer / public / patient reviewers.
