Pain & Anaesthesia

Have you or someone close to you experienced chronic low back pain, with or without leg pain? Your input is needed on a protocol exploring weight management interventions for people with this condition.

Skills / interests: Patient and public input

Would you be interested in helping us with this article focused on weight management interventions for people with chronic low back pain (with or without leg pain)?

I’m looking for a consumer who would be willing to provide feedback on a Cochrane protocol titled, “Weight management interventions for chronic low back pain with or without leg pain in adults”. Cochrane defines a consumer as someone with experience of the condition, in this case, chronic low back pain, either as a patient or as a carer/family member of a patient.

A protocol is a detailed plan for a systematic review. Input from consumers at this stage is essential to help ensure the final review will address the questions and outcomes that matter most to patients and carers making healthcare decisions.

As a consumer peer reviewer, you’ll be asked to complete a short feedback form. We aim to make this a straightforward and respectful process that values your experience without placing too much burden on your time.

Thank you in advance for considering this opportunity!
