This project explores the potential of autologous stem cell implants in epilepsy treatment, working alongside leading researchers from the Instituto Nacional de Rehabilitación, Instituto Nacional de Neurología y Neurocirugía, Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla and Hospital Universitario de Puebla (México). Selected participants will gain hands-on experience in review articles, writing protocols, and writing manuscripts while contributing to groundbreaking research with the opportunity for publication in an indexed journal.

Hi, I’m Gustavo Adolfo Pimentel-Parra, PhD(c) in Health Sciences at the Public University of Navarre. I’m interested in your project on autologous stem cell implants for epilepsy. I have hands-on experience in systematic reviews, including protocol development, study selection, risk of bias assessment, and data extraction. I trained through Cochrane Interactive Learning and recently completed a research stay at the Cochrane Center of the National University of Colombia. Some of my publications include articles in British Journal of Cancer, Seminars in Oncology Nursing, and Perinatología y Reproducción Humana. I have used tools such as RevMan, Rayyan, Covidence, and AGREE II. I can contribute with: Designing and executing comprehensive search strategies in databases, Screening and selecting studies, Risk of Bias assessment, Data extraction and organization, Drafting and editing of manuscripts.
