What we are looking for:
We are seeking a librarian or information specialist experienced in systematic reviews to support the design and documentation of our search strategy.
Project summary:
This is a comparative systematic review evaluating the effectiveness and safety of minimally invasive treatments (LITT vs MRgFUS) for drug-resistant mesial temporal lobe epilepsy.
Tasks include:
- Developing a comprehensive search strategy for databases such as MEDLINE, Embase, CENTRAL, and others
- Identifying grey literature sources (e.g., trial registries, conference abstracts)
- Assisting with proper documentation following PRISMA 2020
- Peer-reviewing the strategy using the PRESS checklist
Skills required:
- Experience with search design for systematic reviews
- Familiarity with epilepsy or neurosurgical interventions is a plus
- Ability to collaborate via email or video meetings
- Technical and academic English proficiency
Estimated timeline:
We are currently in the protocol phase and would ideally like to finalize the search strategy within the next 4–6 weeks.
