Experienced Researchers needed to update the systematic review and Meta-analysis
Skills / interests: Searching for evidence, Screening and selecting studies, Data analysis and organisation, Training or mentoring, Data extraction, Copy-editing and proof-reading
We are seeking experienced individuals to assist with updating a previously completed Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis on study titled: "HIV knowledge, attitude, and practice among people aged 15–49 years residing in low- and middle-income settings: A systematic review and meta-analysis."
The manuscript had been submitted to the journal Health Promotion Perspectives and received revision comments, which were addressed. However, we were unable to resubmit it within the required timeframe.
Since the last literature search was conducted in September 2023, we now need to:
-
Re-run the search to include studies published since then,
-
Revise the search strategy, as the classification of Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) has changed based on the latest World Bank update, and
-
Screen newly identified studies and re-analyze the data
The manuscript is already written. However, due to time constraints, I am unable to complete the update and revision alone. Therefore, I am looking for experienced researchers to:
-
Run the updated literature search,
-
Assist in screening and data extraction,
-
Support statistical analysis if new data is included.
Authorship will be offered based on contributions. The current author group includes 11 researchers, most of whom are budding researchers and from LMICs.
I am expecting to resubmit this manuscript at the earliest or within the next month.
