We are conducting a systematic review on topical lidocaine for perineal suturing and are seeking volunteers with backgrounds in obstetrics, anaesthetics, or midwifery to help with data extraction from 12 included studies.

The data extraction form is ready — it only involves reading the papers and entering data.We aim to complete this by 15 November 2025.

Ideal applicant

We are looking for volunteers with a background in obstetrics, midwifery, or anaesthetics, ideally with some experience in clinical research or systematic reviews. The work can be done remotely and flexibly, as long as it is completed by 15 November 2025. No full-time commitment is needed — you can contribute a few hours per week. Attention to detail and familiarity with reading clinical trials would be very helpful. We will provide the data extraction form, articles and support throughout the process.
