Open Call: Join the Cochrane Early Career Professionals Steering Group (5 Positions Available!)

The Cochrane Early Career Professionals (ECP) Steering Group is recruiting new members! We are opening five positions for motivated early-career colleagues who want to help shape community initiatives, strengthen global engagement, and lead meaningful projects that support early-career professionals across Cochrane.

We're looking for:

1 Newsletter Coordinator – to support the creation, planning, and coordination of our biannual newsletter.
1 Social Media & Content Creator – to help design and deliver engaging digital content across our communication channels.
3 Project Leads – early-career professionals interested in developing and leading a specific initiative within the group.

Ideal applicant

Applicants should have: An interest in evidence synthesis, health research, capacity building, or global health collaboration. Good communication and teamwork skills. Motivation to contribute to a friendly, proactive, and international working group. Prior Cochrane involvement is welcome but not required. What the role involves: depending on the position, activities may include, Coordinating newsletter content and timelines Creating posts, visuals, or multimedia content Leading a project (e.g., webinars, mentoring activities, knowledge translation initiatives) Contributing ideas, supporting community engagement, and collaborating with a diverse global team The estimated time commitment is 2–4 hours per month, depending on the position and ongoing projects.
