Seeking a Methodological Mentor and Collaborators to form a Systematic Review Learning Group
Skills / interests: Dissemination / Knowledge Translation, Advocacy
Methodological skills / interests: Co-production
I am a medical student who wants to establish a new collaborative working group focused on conducting Systematic Reviews.
Since I currently do not possess advanced methodological skills, the primary goal of this task is to recruit a Senior Researcher, Methodological Mentor, or Experienced Cochrane Author who can guide the team, provide mentorship, and oversee the quality of the work. Simultaneously, I am looking for 2-3 enthusiastic co-authors who want to learn and contribute actively to the screening, data extraction, and drafting processes.
What we need from the Mentor: Guidance on finalizing a sound research question and protocol development. Supervision of the search strategy and methodology (e.g., risk of bias assessment). General mentorship throughout the review steps.
Reward: Co-authorship on the final published papers for all active contributors and the mentor on free journals. Collaborative, remote, and flexible environment. Strong dedication, organization, and administrative support from my side to keep the project on track.
The goal is to create a small global group focused on systematic reviews in medical field.
