Help with literature screening in gastroenterology
Skills / interests: Screening and selecting studies
The Health Technology Assessment (HTA) unit at the Quebec Heart and Lung Institute - Laval University is conducting an update to a systematic review on the topic of radiofrequency ablation for low-grade lesions in Barrett's esophagus.
The task would consist in assisting with level 1 screening (approximately 125 articles) and level 2 screening of literature using the Covidence web platform. Eventually quality assessment of the litterature will be needed; however, this will be posted as a seperate task.
Ideal applicant
The ideal applicant will be detail oriented and proficient in the English language. You will need to provide your own electronic device with access to a reliable internet connection. Work can be completed remotely and according to your preferred work time.
There would be a meeting at the beginning of your work to further describe the task in detail, orient you to the Covidence platform (if needed) and answer any questions. A team member would remain available throughout your volunteer commitment to guide and answer questions.
Note that our team is based in Quebec City, Canada, which is in the Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) zone of North America, GMT -04:00.
