This project aims to establish a research group focused on neurovascular medicine and evidence synthesis, working alongside researchers and clinical experts in neurology, neurosurgery, stroke medicine, neuroscience and related fields. The group will focus on developing systematic reviews with or without meta-analyses, scoping reviews, narrative reviews and other evidence syntheses addressing clinically relevant questions in neurovascular medicine.
Selected participants will gain hands-on experience in the development of research protocols, literature searches, critical appraisal, risk of bias assessment, data extraction, evidence synthesis, and scientific manuscript writing, with the opportunity to contribute to research projects intended for publication in indexed peer-reviewed journals.
Benefits
- Opportunity to participate in research projects in neurovascular medicine and evidence synthesis.
- Possibility of contributing to manuscripts with the opportunity for publication in an indexed peer-reviewed journal.
- Training in the essential tools and methodological principles required to conduct systematic reviews and evidence syntheses.
- Training in literature search strategies and database-specific search algorithms.
- Training in study selection, data extraction, and evidence synthesis.
